We follow Jesus Christ
As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe in and follow Jesus Christ.
We worship in several congregations (called wards) across Placer and Nevada counties. Several congregations, but one heart!
Jesus Christ
Central to our beliefs is that Jesus is the Son of God and our loving Savior. He lived to teach us and He suffered and died to save us from sin and death. Because of Him, we can be forgiven, we can overcome challenges, and we can live with God again someday.
Will you worship with us?
Worship with us in churches across Nevada City, Colfax, Foresthill, Auburn, or Alta Sierra here in the beautiful foothills of Northern California. Our congregations (called “wards”) are comprised of people of all ages and life circumstances.
Programs for children and youth
As adults worship and learn together, so do our children. All children ages 3-11 participate in Primary classes and activities. Youth ages 12-17 are welcome to join youth Sunday classes as well as fun and meaningful mid-week activities. Your son, daughter, or grandchild will experience the love of God, obtain new skills, volunteer in the community, and learn more about themselves.
It’s all about family
We believe family ties can last forever. Discover your family history by exploring the world's largest family tree and genealogy archive. In our family history centers, we offer free access to the resources and classes you need to discover your family’s story. With our collection of billions of records, you can piece together your ancestors’ history and bring their stories to life.
