Youth ages 12-17 from all over Nevada County and Placer county have activities, opportunities and experiences to enrich their lives and prepare them for their adult lives. Learn about our programs below.
The 2024 Youth Theme is from 3 Nephi 5:13 in the Book of Mormon:
“Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life.”

Sunday School
Young women and young men ages 12-17 meet together on Sundays with their adult leaders to gain a better understanding of the gospel. This is a safe space to ask questions and learn.
Summer Camps
Each year, we host camps during the summer for youth ages 12-17 (middle school and high school). These young people spend a week in beautiful natural surroundings to learn survival and social skills. They also enjoy a wide range of activities paired with quiet time for personal reflection.

Seminary
Youth ages 14-17 attend seminary classes on weekday mornings to gain a deeper understanding of holy scripture. They share insights with each other and develop friendships. Ask us about the “Seminary Bowl!”
2024 Youth Dances
All dances are located at the stake center for that area. Reach out to your local youth leader for the address and times or contact us. All youth are invited whether or not you have worshiped at our church. All attendees are required to abide by our dance standards.

Dance standards:
Casual dress.
No hats, shorts, or tank tops.
